The clock requires a C battery. The clock works. It is very ornate with a gold metal filigree framing the clock. It is discolored with age. There are discolorations on the brown clock which I am not sure if it is intentional. There is a small dent on the face of the clock along with scuffs and scratches. On the backside there is glued wood to keep the clock from scuffing your wall. I am not sure if they are original. The clock measures approx 28.5 x 17.75 x 2.5 inches.
