Murano Glass Sommerso Style Layered Whale Figurine Paperweight Figurine

Item comes from an estate.  I am unsure of the age or origin.  Body shape of a Viking whale, but I couldn't find one with colors such as this.  The front seems to have a pontil, instead the flat bottom.  So there is protruding glass on the front of the whale.  Whale measures approx 4.5 inches long x 3.5 inches tall x 2 inches wide.  There is surface wear and scratches to this piece - particularly on the bottom.
