Vintage Inlaid Wood Mosaic Star Handmade Trinket Powder Jar Intarsia AS-IS

Lovely round box comes from an estate.  I am unsure of the age or origin.   The top has a few scuffs.   The lid fits very securely and is hard to open up.  Once the lid is removed, you can see what appears to be damage along the rim.  I am not sure if it was repaired, but I think the wood may have been glued.  The box measures approx 4.75 inches wide x 1.75 inches tall.
